How to check RAM (memory) speed in Windows

Check computer RAM speed.

Once in while you might want to check the Ram speed and other specifications about the RAM your computer is using.

For me I wanted to upgrade the ram (adding extra RAM chip), so needed to know all the specification to make sure I insert the suitable RAM.

Here's How you check the speed of computer RAM in Windows

• Enter Windows key  + R
• Type CMD and click Ok
• Type "wmic memorychip get speed" in command prompt
• Hit Enter.

It will show the speed of the ram which your computer is using. The speed is mostly 1600MHz or 1333MHz.
